Advanced microprocessor technology, extended range and innovative new features have made the proven VASCAR-plus® a more effective system of speed measurement. Essentially a computer with distance and/or time input capability, VASCAR-plus® is designed to increase law enforcement officers overall efficiency.

	Microcomputer technology drastically reduces the size and number of the components, making VASCAR-plus® as trouble free as a pocket calculator
	Calibrates by using its internal time crystal, eliminating the need for stop watch
	Dials into the computer previously logged distances up to 0.999 miles to provide accurate reliable speed clocks
	Measures distances in miles from .0002 mile to 100 miles and converts distances into feet by dialing a predetermined number into the computer
	Measures true time in increments of 0.036 seconds up to 10 hours
	Allows the officer to measure gap time between vehicles from 0.1 second as stated above
	Clears itself automatically when starting a new speed check
	The officer can recall either time or distance after completing a speed check without erasing the calculated speed
	Accommodates updated programs by merely inserting a new memory chip
	The power supply and pulse return cable insulation are heat resistant
	The unit can be calibrated for the metric system
